  • Sirloin tip oven roast: $6.99/lb (pretty good, with patience you might find them for $5.99/lb)
  • Carrots (10lb): $4.99 👍
  • Onions (10lb): $4.99 👍
  • No Name all-purpose flour (10kg): $9.99 (costco has 20kg for $18.99)
  • Quaker cereal: $3.19
  • Celery: $2.00
  • Cucumbers (3-pack): $2.97 👍
  • Field bell peppers: $1.97/lb
  • Kellogg’s family size cereal: Buy 3 get 5,000pts. Price match No Frills where these are on sale for $5.49ea to make them work out to less than $4.00ea when you buy 3.
  • Kraft dinner (12-pack): $8.97 ($0.75/box)
  • Jumbo carrots: $0.88/lb (very good, but the 10lb bags of carrots are a considerably better deal if you can use 10lb)
  • Roma tomatoes: $1.47/lb
  • Boston Pizza gift cards: Buy $50, get 7,500pts effectively making a $50 gift card $42.50

No Frills:

  • Onions (10lb): $4.99
  • Campbell’s chunky or ready-to-serve soup: $1.88
  • Oasis juice (960ml): $1.25
  • Russet potatoes (10lb): $4.99
  • Cucumber (3-pack): $3.99 (pretty good, Superstore is better this week)
  • Kellogg’s family size cereal: $5.49 + 1,000pts effectively making them $4.49ea

Walmart:

  • GV frozen veggies (750g): $1.97
  • Broccoli crowns: $1.44/lb – an exceptionally good price 👍
  • Green kiwi (2lb): $4.97
  • Yoplait yogurt tubes (8-pack): $1.94
  • Iogo yogurt (16x100g): $4.97 (find coupons at superstore) 👍
  • Jumbo carrots: $0.98/lb (note that Superstore has 10lb bags of carrots that are a considerably better deal if you can use 10lb)
  • Charmin toilet paper (30 triple rolls = 90 standard rolls): $21.98
  • Kraft dinner (12-pack): $8.97 ($0.75/box)

Safeway / Sobeys:

  • Rainbow bell peppers (3-pack): $3.49

  • Schneider’s or Maple Leaf bacon (375g): $3.97

  • Bell peppers (4-pack): $3.97 (whether this is a good deal or not depends on whether or not the peppers are a reasonable size)
  • Astro original yogurt (12-pack): $3.47
  • Palmolive dish soap (828ml): $1.47
  • Ultimate dining card gift cards: Buy $50, get 500pts effectively making them $45 for a $50 gift card
  • General Mills family size cereal: $5.47, buy 2 get 100pts effectively making them $4.97 when you buy pairs
  • Nestle chocolate bars (40-60g): $1.00ea when you buy 2 or more, buy 2 get 100pts, effectively making them $0.50ea. If you want to be the cool house handing out full size chocolate bars for Halloween, this is probably the best that you are going to do. There doesn’t seem to be a limit on these – I bought 60 earlier this week without any problems.

Calgary Coop:

  • Red or green grapes: $2.49/lb
  • Celery: $2.49 + 20% bonus cash effectively making them $1.99ea

Save on Foods:

  • $1.49 day: Tuesday September 17. The deals haven’t been released yet, but the $1.49 items are often a good price if they are something you want / need
  • Carrots (10lb): $4.99
  • Onions (10lb): $4.99
  • Russet potatoes (10lb): $4.99
  • Walnut halves and pieces: $0.99/100g

ShoppersDrugMart:

  • Eggs (12pk): $3.79, Sat/Sun only 👍
  • NN (1kg) or Blue Menu (750g) Peanut Butter: $3.99, Sat/Sun only 👍

Costco:

  • Almond Breeze (6x946ml), expires Sept 15: $10.99
